Consolidation of the Teal Cor al and Chocolate Company of Lititz Pennsylvania and the Brewster Sons Company of Newats New Jersey into the Brewster Ideal Chocolate Company was announced Friday. Albert E. Brewster will be president of the consolidated firm and expansion plans are set to begin. The new company will acquire the plants and business of the two predecessors, which together generate about two million dollars annually, with assets totaling around one and a half million dollars after adjustments.

Addition to New Market House Completed
The new Lutz Market House on Fast Main Street was opened to the public last Saturday after a 20 foot rear addition. The enlarged room stretches about 90 feet and features fresh fruits, vegetables, and Benny Tutz's meat stand with prices including dressed chickens from 1.00 to 1.50, corn 35 to 40 cents per dozen, apples 26 to 35 cents per half peck, and eggs 35 cents per dozen.

Canvasback Duck Seen on Lititz Creek in County
A two month old juvenal canvasback duck was observed on the lower branch of Lititz Creek by Prof. HW H Beck last week. It is the first record of a canvasback in the county and state at this time of year, with the last week of October marking their first appearance as they travel in flocks to bays and larger rivers. This duck has broken numerous natural laws.
