An automaker in Lancaster sees a second Lizzie dash from a hitching post within a week. Gatekeeper Fred Beaver lifted North Queen street gates as a Detroit bound train neared. Four depot workers and a passerby crewed to move the car off the tracks just before the locomotive passed. The driver then steered the vehicle away, avoiding disaster.
