Bantam Hatches Flock and Acts as Foster Mother
A bantam on the premises of Dallas Flay at Oregon hatched a set ting of chickens and acts as foster mother to other chicks left by hens that have given up. The little hen now leads a flock of forty two, following her by day and night, with all crowding into a coop, some nearly as large as she is.

Community Memorial Service for President Harding

Adams Clambers Up Bismark Hill in Auto Challenge

He demonstrated three climbs in high gear with his Oldsmobile four cylinder sport model, drawing a crowd as neighboring autoists and passersby watched. Dr Martin Involved In Auto Collision At Penryn
Dr Martin was in a Friday collision with a truck at Penryn. No injuries occurred, but both vehicles suffered damage as the truck, driven by Jacob Eichelberger, lost a wheel and landed twenty feet away. county produce littered the road. The doctor’s car was dented and misaligned, and the truck driver cleared Dr Martin of blame for not giving Lititzman adequate room to pass.
