In a desert lava field rangers scan for traces of Rojas and his gang after spotting fourteen horses and a few mounted men. Gale and Ladd argue over red glare and a possible concealment as Yaqui’s disappearance lingers and tension builds. The scene ends with a promise to continue next week.
