Switz City will host three projects including a 20,000 gallon cistern for Grant Fairplay high school, sewer and street improvements, and parage repairs. Bandit killed during hold up in Lapel elevator office
In Anderson Indiana two bandits tried to rob the Standard Elevator Co at Lapel. One was shot to death in a gun duel with manager William Clifford. Leslie Howard of Anderson was identified as the slain bandit. The companion escaped but wrecked his car near Anderson and was pursued.
