Women Injured in Freak Mishap Near Worthington
Mrs Bertha Spain and her daughter Miss Leona Spain of Indianapolis were riding to the city in rain when Mrs Spain tried to clear the windshield and lost control. Udon Man Drowns Near Worthington Body Sought

Record Catfish Catch Reported in Greene County
Faye Smith and Rex Hoffeditz reported a 44 pound flathead catfish caught on a trotline near Shady Beach north of Bloomfield. The fish, said to be a new Greene County record, required several minutes of struggle and maneuvering to land. Last year Smith set another county record with a 20 pound flathead and an 11.5 pound catfish.
