Richard Wingate Jr Killed in Argonne Forest Hero Returns
Richard Wingate Jr of Company M Twenty eighth Infantry A E F was killed in action July 28 1918 in the Argonne forest France. His body now lies in state at his Lyons home and funeral services are set for Memorial hall Lyons at 2 p m tomorrow with a military tribute by the Linton American Legion. He is survived by his mother and sister Miss Lucile Wingate. his father having died in 1916.
