Car Smash Near Golf Course Ends With Minor Injuries
At 2 50 a m on Highway 54 in front of the golf course a 1976 station wagon driven by David D Austin 27 of Linton left the road traveled 90 feet into a ditch and crashed into trees. The car valued at 7000 was a total loss and Austin was extricated with cuts and abrasions by Greene County Rescue Unit. Deputy Sheriff Bill Collins investigated the accident noting speeding in a 55 mph zone prior to the loss of control.
