Schricker Criticizes Gates Administration
Indiana Governor Schricker assails the Gates administration in a Democratic state convention keynote. He cites $737000 for a legislative chamber remodel and $100000 for a grander governor mansion, while promising to run the fall election on finances as the main issue. He says the budget was met and funds returned to the general fund, but accuses the GOP of expanding government costs and failing to curb services.
