Faith Healer Sought After Taking 54 Dollars

Harley Rollison 64 died at 10 30 Monday night at his Worthington area home after a brief illness. Born March 14 1892 in De Witt Arkansas he spent most of his life in Worthington and was a World War I veteran. Surviving are his widow May married February 22 1936 one step daughter three stepsons two brothers two sisters and two grandchildren. Body to Myers Funeral Home Worthington will lie in state after 7 pm tonight with funeral at 2 pm Thursday at the Worthington Cemetery burial to follow with Rev Herb Kreller officiating.

Road workers injured in state road 54 widening crash
Two Ralph Rogers company workers, Earl Roark and Earl Hiatt, were injured while widening state road 54 east of Bloomfield. Roark, 49, suffered head injuries, cuts, bruises, and a sprained back. Hiatt, 43, had minor cuts and bruises. They were treated at Freeman-Greene county hospital after the 8:45 AM incident. State police report the machine kicked out of gear while descending a hill, colliding with a parked truck and throwing the workers to the road.

Two Anderson Boys Killed in Intersection Crash
In Anderson Indiana two teenage boys died at a wet intersection of Indiana 67 and Indiana 236 when a car pulling a house trailer struck a motor scooter and another car rammed into the trailer. John Britt 18 of Indianapolis and Morris Leighton 16 of Middletown were killed. John Sparks 40 of Muncie was seriously injured. Police say the trailer wreck occurred after Wearly who drove the trailer swerved out of control hitting Leighton’s scooter. Leighton died later at St. John’s Hospital. Sparks was a hitchhiker in Britt’s car. Wearly is president of Wearly Monument Works with operations in multiple cities.
