Margaret Hackler of Indianapolis had tonsils and adenoids operation today. Harry Moss of Linton admitted for tonsil and adenoid operation today. Vera Mullis of Lyons admitted for medical treatment today. Helena Benham and baby of Lyons dismissed yesterday. Patricia Little returned home in Jasonville yesterday. Bruce Toon of Bloomfield sent home yesterday. Charles Richard DeCourcey dismissed yesterday. Betty Thomas of Linton went home today. Gladys Mack taken home in Patricksburg today. Norman Eugene Ham of Linton dismissed today. Paul Correll of Linton dismissed today.
Fallis E. Ward signs as basketball coach for Linton Stockton high school for next school year. He will also serve as elementary school principal, with a half day as supervising principal and half day as coach, bringing 24 years of teaching experience and 12 years coaching. He succeeds Gar Landson.
In Frankfort Indiana today a Monon railroad diesel engine collided head on with a Nickel Plate passenger locomotive at a crossing. Brakeman O M Schulz of Indianapolis was injured with a broken collar bone and possible rib fractures. Both engineers were uninjured. Damage to locomotives was slight.
The Mu Beta Gamma Mission Circle of the Baptist church will meet at the home of Mrs Helen Sargent Monday evening at 7 30. Rev Powell Forbes will speak for the evening.

Rev Armin F Meyer on furlough from Khakar India will give a talk on missionary work in India at Saron Evangelical and Reformed Church Friday at 8 pm. He was in India during the war years and can answer questions on Indian national affairs. All interested are invited.

Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin and former Foreign Secretary Anthony Eden were named among recipients of letter bombs. Scotland Yard said Bevin’s secretary found a bomb in mail and Eden carried one in his briefcase before suspecting it. The British embassy in Paris also received a similar letter. no explosions occurred.
Fire Captain Dan Lake of Seaside swerved his car to dodge a large cardboard box and saw a five year old girl crawl from it and walk away. The incident occurred in Astoria Oregon on June 5.
