Stone case sent to Greene Circuit Court

The State of Indiana on relation of Wayne Rush appeals from a justice court in Center township to Greene Circuit Court. Peter M. Stone posted a $700 bond with A W McLaughlin and Anna Stone Warnick as sureties. Stone, former Richland township justice, appealed after a $17.28 judgment and costs for alleged revialidarre over two years ago. The case will be tried at the February term.

Bloomfield Eastern Star 1986 officers named at meeting

Bloomfield residents gathered at the Masonic hall for a dedication, affiliation services, and the installation of officers for 1986. New officers include Mrs. Claude Workman as worthy matron and S. Ramsey as worthy patron, with gifts presented to retiring Worthy Matron Mrs. Jean Hidden in a lily. Local club events and other lodge reports filled the evening.
