Delta Delta Delta at the University of Nebraska Lincoln continues its six year post game tradition. The Tri Delta Washboard Band performs after NU home games at the Gas Light Bar with 25 members playing washboards guitars and tambourines. They sing along to classic tunes while engaging the crowd. performances fund sorority needs and band equipment. The group rehearses twice weekly and selects members based on enthusiasm and song knowledge rather than vocal ability.

Lincolnites sought in death of Kansan killings
A trio of Lincoln residents are wanted for murder in Montana for the slayings of Kenneth and Marion McLean and are also sought for questioning in the August 31 killing of Sharon Leeding in Concordia Kansas. Murder charges have been filed in Montana. Lincoln police say the suspects Andrew Sunday James Wilson and Donna Mitchell were in the Concordia area on the day Leeding was killed. The McLeans were found shot in their farmhouse near Rogers Pass after their horses went missing, with authorities believing the Lincoln trio may have been camping near Lincoln Montana and possibly involved in the theft of horses and gear. The coroner says the McLeans were killed late Tuesday.
