Space lecture lights up Zeman pupils with stars
Third and fourth graders at Zeman Elementary heard a space history talk Tuesday by Tom Hill from Johnson Space Center Houston. He described 70 million pound rockets and satellites costing 32.5 million dollars orbiting the sun. Hill and three other center representatives visit 35 Lincoln schools and UNL as part of the Lincoln Aerospace Community Involvement Program. He urged conserving fuel and praised the pupils’ minds as the greatest resource.
