Inflation near five percent as wholesale prices rise

An 18 year old Crete youth was bound over to Saline County District Court to stand trial for the Sept. 18 death of his mother Antonie Stofer. Police testified the victim died from gunshot wounds and investigators found empty .22 cartridges. A seven page pathology report and a blood test for alcohol and drugs were part of the evidence.
