Army disciplines five Omaha recruiters over insurance sales violations
Five personnel attached to the U S Army Recruiting Command in Omaha were disciplined after a 22 month CID investigation found they arranged or sold insurance investment interviews to subordinates in violation of Army rules. Two officers and three noncommissioned officers received two letters of reprimand and two admonitions. one was reassigned. An offer of non judicial punishment was made to another. Further FBI work is under review by Washington.

Archeologists led by Professor Manolis Andronikos at the University of Salonica say a treasure laden grave unearthed near Vergina may be the tomb of Philip II father of Alexander the Great. The grave was found under about 20 000 tons of dirt in Vergina about 40 miles west of Salonica.

NPPD and LES Near Settlement on Long Dispute
Nebraska Public Power District and Lincoln Electric System move toward resolving six year old disputes with partial settlements.
