UNL to establish Center for the Study of the American Business System

The University of Nebraska Lincoln College of Business Administration will create a Center for the Study of the American Business System funded by the Nebraska Campaign. Interim Dean Gary Schwendiman announced a $100,000 gift from Karl H. Nelson to support general operations and an endowed professorship. The center aims to raise national visibility, expand economics and business courses, place professors and students in state and national business operations, and coordinate education and research on the U.S. economic system without new state funds.
