Maternal Child Care Institute Draws Nurses Officials

About 285 registered and practical nurses, student nurses, public health officials, and social workers attended the District 13 Ohio State Nurses' Association institute at St. Rita's School of Nursing Auditorium. Speakers from several cities discussed modern maternal and child care in the community and emphasized medical supervision during pregnancy parent education family centered maternity wards child development in early years. Helen Brayton led as chairwoman of the institute.

An elderly Gnadenhutten man Harvey Schreiner aged 79 and his sister Myrtle Schreiner 73 were killed in a head on collision on Ohio 16 south of New Philadelphia. Leslie R. Conrad 71 from Buffalo in Guernsey County was listed in critical condition.

West Ohio Gas office remodel underway in Delphos

Remodeling work is presently underway at the local West Ohio Gas Company office in Delphos.
