Ada Stocker Sr. of Rt. 1 Lakeview died at 2 20 p.m. Wednesday in a Wapakoneta nursing home after an extended illness. Born November 13 1881 in Auglaize County she was the daughter of William and Laura Williams Scott. Surviving: one grandson F Glenn Hill of Bellefontaine two great grandchildren one great great grandchild two sisters Anna Stocker of Bellefontaine Mildred Himes of Rt 1 Lakeview and one brother Jason Scott of Bellefontaine. Hogs Lost In Area Blaze At Jackson Township Farm
A fire at the Kenneth Haven stein farm on Sugar Creek Road in Jackson Township burned a hog house Wednesday night. Bluffton Fire Department arrived first and Lafayette unit followed. Beaverdam also responded. Fire chief Don Williams praised all three departments. Seven cows, 40 young pigs, and 40 shoats were in the building. loss undetermined.

Lima Police investigate a string of thefts since Wednesday morning. Dorothy Johns reports a portable radio valued at 18 dollars stolen from her apartment. Mike's Car Wash on Market Street says candy, cigarettes and money taken from the business around 9 08 p m after a window was broken. A 19 8 model Plymouth owned by Robert Bassitt had parts stolen after entry by removing moulding and a glass window. Three teenagers had personal items stolen at Central Junior High School after noon on Wednesday with a coat and purses taken from the gym. Losses vary with estimates 30 dollars for the coat and 15 35 dollars for the purses described. Louis Ber Honey Corp manager Alton Young says an 8 window was broken between 3 and 7 30 a m today.
