Mrs Sadie Bigelow 82 of De N. Broadway Lima died at 10 36 am Monday at Lima Memorial Hospital She was born Oct 7 1983 to Garrett and Margaret Zimmerman Sampson Her husband Madison died in 1956 Survived by three sons Norman of St Marys Wilmer of 208 Blackburn Lima and Harold D of Wayne one daughter Mrs Mabel M Detrick of 23a N Jameson Lima three grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren She attended Ross Church of the Brethren Service will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Leis Memorial Chapel Rey Fara Laman will officiate burial in Spencerville Cemetery Friends may call at the funeral home.

Laura Cain, 32, was fined 100 dollars and given a two to five year term in the Marysville Women's Reformatory after a narcotics arrest in Lima last year. She pleaded guilty last December after arrest in April, started five years probation in January 1966, then rearrested on the same charge, leading to the probation revocation and imposition of the sentence by Judge John Davison in Allen County Common Pleas Court.

Oven Explosion Injures Lima Man
A gas blast at Bor Tom Bakery 719 S Main caused major oven damage and blew out two rear windows. Albert Yorbumn 24 of 18 Lost Creek Blvd attempted to fight the oven and was taken to St Rita’s Hospital for second degree burns and shock before release.

Lowell Miller a 25 year old Brooklyn Michigan resident was sentenced in Allen County Common Pleas Court to four concurrent prison terms of one to 20 years each.
