Controversial 22 Minute Film Shown in Lima Church
The 22 minute color film Parabbe, sparked debates after the New York World's Fair, will screen at West Erin United Church of Christ in Lima on Sunday Jan. 30 at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. with a possible 8:30 showing. Rev. Vernon Jones says a panel including Miss Easter Straker and several ministers will lead after every show in the fellowship hall, where refreshments will be served. Admission is free and open to the public. The Protestant Council of New York produced the film, which some call the best at the fair and others call distasteful and sacrilegious.
