Annexation Talks Seek Industrial Plant for Outlying Area
A southeast Lima area near Fourth Street and Greely Chapel Road may be annexed with twelve of twenty one property owners to decide if the move proceeds. If approved, an industrial plant of about 30 000 square feet could be built, with city officials noting tax and utility savings and a $1 000 home cost for city services. Public discussion included representatives from the city, county and Chamber of Commerce, as residents weigh water sewer and light installation benefits against opposition to heavy industry.
