The Cincinnati Enquirer notes arrivals from Vera Cruz to New Orleans and Mexico City. General Scott’s staff left the City of Mexico on April 22 and reached Vera Cruz on the 30th, then sailed to New York aboard the Petersburgh. Generals Pillow Townshend and Cushing have arrived in New Orleans as the Inquisition court is to be reorganized.
