Gas advances charged at eight dollars the end of the year two if questioned extends past year two hundred fifty dollars or new members will be dispersed arrearages paid. Advertising rates one column per year. half column advertising will be charged after three insertions. Candition for office costs one dollar for annunciation of names.

A faded meditation on loss blends with an anecdote about a Nova Scotia woman who rescues her imprisoned brother. She endures hardship to plead to the New York Governor, gathering juror names and petitions, awaiting clemency and a timely pardon delivered by mail, aided by a kind Sing Sing keeper.
A garbled 17th century text recounts a Scottish clergyman's sermon on the loaves and fishes misexplained as vast hills, a baker named Willy McDonald questioned oven types, and a London to Liverpool grain import spike from December 1546 to February 1647 listing huge flour and wheat totals.
