The partnership between W. S. Rose and L. Bliss is dissolved by mutual consent. Rose will continue legal practice and handle unfinished business. Creditors should call on Rose to settle notes and accounts. Also notes about Church mission letter and services at the Baptist Church on Feb 17.
A notice states that a petition will be presented to Allen County Commissioners in March to locate a county road along Riley Creek in Milan township. It runs from Peter Shoemaker's through sections 4 9 and 16 to intersect the Kenton and Kalida road and then the Lima and Findlay road. Many petitioners signed on January 30, 1849.
A notice states a petition will be presented to Allen County Commissioners at the next session on the first Monday in March praying for the location and establishment of a county road described from Thames Nash and Jobn Head on the Lina to Lafayette road, south to Joseph Marshes mill, across the mill tare and creek, up the creek to the line between JB Walton and Charles Cupea, then south to the Siete road from Lima to Kenton.
