It mentions Indiana election results, Whig and Democratic gains, and scattered notes on commerce and the Regulator controversy.
The notices describe sheriff sales by clerks of the courts in Lima and Allen County Ohio. Listings include parcels in townships East and Westmine, sections 14 and 23, ranges six to seven, sizes from forty to eighty acres, taken in execution to satisfy judgments for various creditors including J C Curtis Buckinghm Co and David Crall. Auctions occur Saturday in September with cash terms and at the Lima court house door.

By decree of the Court of Common Pleas in Allen County Ohio executor Hrested will sell at the Lima courthouse on a Saturday in September. The property includes land in the Pigay land district described as the west half of the west quarter and the east quarter of section thirteen in township four south range seven. Costs and forty acres of the west side of each tract to be excluded. Appraised at fourteen hundred dollars. This sale is on execution against James Sever in favor of George Sever and Charles Mann. Terms cash. Charles B. White, Clerk Regent, 1836.
A 1846 Cincinnati letter from George Johnson describes relief from lung inflammation and severe cough after using an Expectorant remedy. He credits rapid improvement to the medicine, noting recovery after consuming multiple bottles and following directions. The missive also advertises Lima color calicoes for sale by a shipper and a local agent.
The court announces appointment of Griffuth Iounn, administrator de bonis non, of Asa Wright, deceased, German Township, Allegheny County. Creditors and others concerned are notified to appear and present claims by the specified date in August 1846.
