Liberty to Host Sales Day and Free Entertainment
Liberty holds Sales Day on Saturday June 17 with bar gains at all businesses and free afternoon and evening entertainments. The Rube Band performs at 2 pm near the bank corner, Rev Rastus Brown and his congregation speak at 3 pm, and old fiddlers play at 4 pm near Keller & Johnson. If rain delays, event moves to Wednesday June 21 with same schedule.

Vacation Bible School Ends With Strong Attendance in Liberty
Vacation Bible School closed Friday in Liberty as one of the most successful events. Enrollment reached 94 with an average daily attendance of 84 and 46 children achieved perfect attendance. A lunch was held in the park and a program at the Lutheran church Friday night. Officers elected for the coming year include Agnes Reid as President Lennie McBride 1st Vice President Miss Lottie Longlett 2nd Vice President Miss Ina Clary Seoya Treasurer Miss Leona Heberlein. An offering collected Friday evening was sent to Inner Mission Chicago to fund an outing for a boy or girl.

Luther an Day at Soldier's Field for World’s Fair
