Word arrived Friday of the death of B F Lawhorn at his Ontario California home Saturday evening August 29. Born in Illinois in 1840 he was 74. He moved from Missouri to Greenton Valley in 1863 and to California in 1913 for health. Survived by wife Anne Maltby two daughters and two sons. Funeral held Tuesday. buried in Ontario cemetery. Mrs J W Sydnor traveled to St Louis for a visit.
