Large Silo Erected on Catron Farm South of Lexington
A large concrete silo, 16 feet in diameter and 64 feet high with 400 tons capacity, has been built on the old Catron farm seven miles south of Lexington. The Catron farm is owned by Miss Elizabeth Catron of Marshall and occupied by Joseph Lege. A 170000 gallon storage tank and a 4500 gallon stock tank, both concrete, accompany the silo. Construction was by L W Swan of Independence.

Death of William Popejoy at Diamond Brick yards Kansas City
William Popejoy aged 41 died at South Side hospital Sunday after being accidentally injured at the Diamond Brick Company yards in Kansas City on July 28. The body was brought to his home of Henry Dankers Monday night. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 3 PM conducted by Rev. Warren P. Clark.

Criminal Court Disposes Two Guilty Pleas In Robbery Cases
In Friday's criminal court James Orr pleaded guilty to burglarizing M Ladeson's store last summer and received a two year penitentiary sentence. Floyd Fischer pleaded guilty to robbing a railroad car and was sentenced to two years in the penitentiary. Miss Dorotha Mendelsohn returned to St Louis after visiting the Walker family.
