Local resident dies after injuries in Buckner incident
A man identified as a relative of Mrs. Elmer L. Sanders and Miss J K Leiter died Monday evening at 5 o clock from injuries sustained earlier. The family includes Mrs Anna D Sanders of Well Leiter and her mother Mrs Nington. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the office of Deeds Judge Wilson with burial to follow.

A letter from E N Farris of St Louis reveals surprise at Pralle’s absence and questions whether he informed Lexington officials of a change of plans. The incident draws criticism from both chambers as they consider replacing him. Also reported is the death of David C. Pointer at his home after a three week illness, with survivors including wife Mary Gray Pointer and three children. Funeral held at the Pointer residence.

Leon C Roy Dies At Home After Illness
Leon C Roy died Saturday morning at his home 415 Washington avenue from complications of diseases. Born in Dille France February 3 1856 he came to America 47 years ago first to Topeka Kansas then Lexington before moving to this city 25 years ago. He married Constance Mallet in Osage City Kansas 39 years ago. Survived by three sons Louis A Ernest Alfred L Roy and one daughter Elia Roy all of this city. Funeral service conducted by Rev J E Alexander from the home Monday at 2 30 p m burial in Machpelah cemetery.

Richard F. Dierking died Saturday morning at 9 80 o'clock at his Highland Avenue home from a stomach illness. Born December 25 1862 in Concordia Missouri, he is survived by his wife and several children. Funeral services led by Rev. Robert L. Cowan were held Sunday afternoon at 4 at the home.
