Higginsville Quits Party Politics In Local Election
Higginsville abandons strict party lines after a dry local option win. A provisional Law Enforcement ticket emerges with cross party members, while Democratic and Republican committees argue over conventions. The resignation of Oliver Coe clears the way for no Democratic ticket, signaling a shift toward nonpartisan candidacy in Higginsville.
