Masons Celebrate Bicentennial Across Missouri
The Twenty third Missouri Masonic District marked England’s lodge bicentennial with a Concordia celebration. Over 700 attended a basket dinner and heard speeches by Dr D D Munro of Cavalry Baptist Kansas City and Rev R N Allen of Lexington Methodist. About 35 attendees joined from Lexington.

Pocket Book Lost and Found Incident in Oklahoma
S. Cole of Oklahoma reported losing a pocket book about three weeks ago on Main street between 10th and the Commercial Bank. The book containing $150, notes, and a certificate of deposit was found Monday in a closet behind Chris Walk's saloon, but the finder stole the money and kept the papers. Cole, a former county resident, lived at "sheep's nose" on the farm now owned by Claud Hicklin.

Athletics defeated the Railway Terminals of Kansas City 23 to 2 in a one sided game. The local squad collected twenty three hits and wore themselves out running the bases. Hale eased up after the lead reached double figures. Next Sunday Chelsea Athletic Club will be the attraction.

Desecrating The Flag: Missouri Pacific Foreman Arrested
Theodore Favier foreman of a bridge gang on the Missouri Pacific was arrested Friday by Deputy Sheriff John Toner on a charge of desecrating the United States flag. He reportedly tore down the flag from box cars where workers lived and was arraigned before Justice Clyde Wright with a $2000 bond, which he could not post, and he was sent to county jail.

Prof Burtis M Little superintendent of public schools, studying at the University of Missouri, was injured while camping with a geological survey party near Columbia. A member of the party, driving at night, ran over him as others slept under a tarpaulin, dislocating one hip and causing additional bruises.

Kids Put on Circus to Aid Red Cross Fund
Saturday afternoon on South street the Kids presented a circus on a ring set at 20th and South to raise money for the Red Cross. Performers included Edward Tutt Franklin For ester Ned Wallace John R.
