Woman Drowned in Ferry Mishap Near Napma Missouri
Mrs Levi Smith aged 55 of near Napma Missouri drowned when a car with her two children and two others tipped from a ferry into the river yesterday morning. The car slid 30 feet across the boat, the driver’s foot slipped, and the vehicle went overboard. Mrs Smith's body recovered later at Winkler's Under Acme Parlors. others escaped with minor injuries. Athletics 4 Merchants 1 in Kansas City game as Walsh allowed five hits and Swede Johansson six. Captain Slasher, Missouri Tigers star last season, played first for the Athletics.
