Thomas Ainsworth Dead in County Obituary
Thomas Ainsworth a respected county citizen died Sunday morning about 6 30 from acute indigestion after a hearty breakfast. He fell while heading to the cow yard and lived about thirty minutes. Ainsworth was a Methodist, a pillar of the community and a lifelong farmer. He was born in England in 1864 and married Mannie Palmer, later immigrating to this country. He leaves his wife two daughters Mrs Nice Sirr and Mrs George Dean, plus other relatives in the county and England. Funeral services were conducted by Rev M Davenport at the Methodist church on Monday evening.

Funeral rites held for Jo O at home on Oath Street
Services were held Friday at the residence on Oath Street with Rev Cobb assisted by Rev BR May of Kansas City. The funeral featured a moving address, choir renditions of favorite hymns, and numerous floral offerings. The body was taken to Mach ih for a brief ceremony and interred in a simple graveside service.

A discussion of presidential candidates followed by talks from Warren Sherman Taft Clarence Wilson Clark Joseph Graddy Roosevelt E N Hopkins Bryan Ovid Sellers Wilson C L Ristine Debs. Hopkins won praise for best talk and Clark was seen as having best chance to be elected. A lunch of sandwiches pickles coffee and cigars ended the gathering. The Young Men's club orchestra played and a quartet sang to the tune Didn t He Ramble. The meeting was noted as interesting and instructive with promise of growing popularity.

Mrs Emma Peddicord Dies After Years in Odessa
Mrs Emma Peddicord aged about 70 died around 2 a m Sunday at her Odessa home after living there for several years. She is survived by brothers Walter John William and sister Miss Fannie Newman of Lexington and an adopted son Albert Pointer of Lexington. A Christian church member, her body was brought to Lexington for burial Monday afternoon.
