Mrs Ford T Smith aged 72 died Wednesday night at her home south of Lexington after months in critical condition from cancer. Daughter of James Young once Missouri lieutenant governor, she lived near Prairie Church all her life. Survived by husband, one sister Mia Marcha Barnett, and daughter Mrs Sallie Jamison of Gower Missouri. Funeral by Rev N H McCain at Prairie Church Sunday morning at 30 o’clock. Interment Machpelah.
