The corner stone laying of the new Central College building was held Thursday under the direction of District Deputy Grand Master Charles L. Frost. Visiting masons attended as the original building was donated to the Methodist church by the Masonic Grand Lodge of Missouri. Dr C O Woods of the St Louis Christian Advocate spoke on the college’s history and masonry's moral mission to uplift society. Several hundred townspeople attended.
