Killed By Falling Tree On Polk Fulkerson Farm
Warrensburg special reports Polk Fulkerson, about 61, was killed when a tree fell on his farm near Columbus last Saturday. He was born in Johnson County Missouri, son of Dr. Monroe Fulkerson, tied to local Fulkersons, brother of Mrs. Cassie Gordon, and brother-in-law to John T. Crisp and Polk Crisp of Kansas City. He leaves a wife and six children and was a wealthy, respected farmer.

Meeting of the lodge committee reported minor route changes
A well attended meeting of the lodge committee was held Monday at the office of Catron and Tubo. Mr Ash a civil engineer from San City reported minor changes in the route. Most difficulties have passed and the tests are to be displaced within a day or two. The secretary was instructed to submit subscription notes to Mr Haerle for acceptance. The committee aims to finish the work as early as possible.

Utile Dulce Club Sees Military Finch Debut
The Utile Dulce Club held its latest event Friday afternoon January 20 with Mrs. J. C. McGrew hosting. Fort Dale led by Mrs. Stonestress, Moorman, Ed McGrew, and James McGrew won most battles and received pear handle fruit knives. Fort Goodtime, led by Mrs Nick él Graddy Groves and Mrs Stele, lost, and the group was presented a small drum and toy cannon. Elegant refreshments followed. The next meeting will be hosted by Mrs. J.
