Stranger Arrested in Robbery Case and Murders
A man arrived with a hat and a bag. a sheriff questioned him, searched him, and found $88 and diamonds. He was sent to Lexing ton and then Kansas City, where the chief of police was notified. Initially listed as wanted, he was later held as a suspect in a Kansas City hotel robbery and murders involving Sheriff Talbott and two deputies. The suspect was transported by Deputy Sheriff William P. Kelley, and the deceased’s survivor is Jamon Grady of Kansas City.
