Judge Graves Dies Ex Confederates One Term Congressman
Hon Alexander Graves former Confederate soldier and one term Democratic congressman died Saturday at his suburban home after uremic poisoning. Born August 29 1844 in Mt Carmel Mississippi he served in Civil War and practiced law in Lexington Missouri. Funeral held at Presbyterian church with services by Dr E C Gordon and Rev T M Cobb. burial attended by many friends.

Juius Yokum was arrested Saturday night for stabbing her husband in the arm during a quarrel and paid a $6.25 fine. Emma Graham was fined $5.30 for disturbing the peace. After the Game, a 45 minute playlet of college life, was staged at the Grand by ten Lexington High School students.
