Bee Thompson Killed in Battle in World War I
Otto Thompson known as Bee was killed in action on November 1. He was born September 24, 1892 in Richmond Missouri and was 26. He served eleven years with the office staff earlier and left Lexington for Camp CPT in April before sailing to France with the 89th Division. Survived by parents Mr. and Mrs. J D Thompson and several siblings including Joe Hazel Ray Mamie and Clara. His wife Minnie Jenkins of this city and Leonard Edmonson of near Odessa are mentioned in notices.

Dock BK Wilmot Dies at Camp Pike
Robert A Wilmot received a telegram on Tuesday announcing the death of his son Dock IR Wilmot at Camp Pike Arkansas of pleurisy and acute bronchitis. He was 27. Private Wilmot left Lexington June 24 with a contingent. The body will be brought to Lexington this evening and taken to the home of his father two miles south of town for a funeral at 10 tomorrow morning. Rev. R. B. Binney of Kansas City will conduct the services. Burial will be in Mt Hebron Cemetery near Onlessa.
