Leon Henry Robinson four years old son of Mr and Mrs W A Robinson of Oneida Street died Sunday morning at 6 35 of pneumonia following in vienza Funeral services were held at 2 30 Monday afternoon Rev Dickerson conducted the services Also mentioned is the death of Mrs M T Kelly age 46 of 1820 Franklin Street born near Aullville July 24 1872 married October 1 1901 to Mr Kelly She is survived by a daughter Marion mother Mrs Annie Field Higeginsville Mo and brother Charles Field The Baxter Waters funeral was held from the home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock
Mrs Francis Guillou died Saturday morning at her home from pneumonia following influenza. Born September 16, 1897 in Boone County Missouri she was 21. She married Mr Guillou April 8, 1917 and leaves a husband a nine month old son Earl, her parents and eight siblings. The body was taken to Brown.
Mrs Arthur Meunier of Hexington area died Tuesday night at 9 30 from pneumonia following influenza She was born May 1 1897 near Columbia Missouri and married about three years ago to Mr Meunier They leave a daughter two and a half and parents J Simmerman and wife two brothers James and Thomas Simmerman of Lexington and sisters Mrs Max Mills Houstonia Mo Mrs Lon Hammon Holden Mo and Mrs Bessie Trindle Also noted is the death of 19 year old Mrs Gertrude Eapmon wife of Forest Eapmon at Twentieth and Bloom.

Andrew a longtime Lafayette County official and Civil War veteran from Salisbury North Carolina born 1840 who served as probate and county clerk and later bank cashier. Also noted is the death of Mrs Genevieve Kavanaugh Hill daughter of Baxter Kavanaugh with services in Kansas City and burial in Richmond Missouri along with details of surviving relatives. Essential local names include Mrs Elizabeth Mayer Wellington Mo and Capt Samuel J Andrew with ties to Lexington and Charted counties. Mrs Marian Modson Hodson Mignerey died at her home on Wednesday night at 9 30 from pneumonia following influenza. Born April 23 1892 in Higginsville she married Edward Mignerey on March 12 1914. Survived by her husband two daughters two sisters Mrs N B Wagener of Kansas City and Mrs Joseph Hughes of Higwinsville and two brothers George B E Dodson of Lexington and James E Hod son of Wellington.
William Edgar Bertz died at 1 15 pm Tuesday at his father Henry Bertys home six miles south of Lexington after two years of ill health from heart trouble. Born August 11 1900 on the homestead he leaves four brothers and six sisters. The funeral was conducted by Rev FE Crepin at the family home. Mrs Elias Spruce died Thursday morning at 11 oclock at the home of her sister Mrs Charles Alattin 809 South 28rd Street after a prolonged illness. She was born February 1870 in this city and was nearly 48. Survived by her first husband Leonard Schneider who died about fifteen years ago and by her husband Elias Spruce. She also leaves her mother Mrs F D Lahey and three daughters.
Mrs. Frank Chew and her young son arrived Monday for a short visit with friends and relatives. Her husband, Lieut. Commander Frank Chew, U S Navy, is currently stationed in Cuban waters.

Private Daniel Taney, slight wound. Private Upton B. Smith, slight wound. Private Cecil F. H. Atteberry, slight wound. Corp. William A. Hinth, listed among wounded. Private Edward H. Collins, slight wound. Gilbert P. Brownfield of Alma, slight wound. Private William Jordan of Wellington, severely wounded after leaving Lexington for Jefferson Barracks in July 1918.
Mrs. Ned O. Lewis learns her husband Tent. Ned O. Lewis of the U S Medical Corps in France has been cited for distinguished service and promoted to captain. Mrs. Lewis was formerly Miss Nancy Huston, daughter of Gol and Mins S J Huston, of this city.
Everett Shriver returns from Camp Funston to announce his discharge from the army. He left with a full demobilization status and plans to resume civilian life.

Jenes Gonzales and Jexisita Mores of Henrietta, Missouri, were remarried Monday evening in the recorder's office with Judge SN Wilson officiating. Language barriers arose as the principals speak Spanish and English poorly, and Judge Wilson's Spanish proved rusty. An interpreter named Peter Vuaquas assisted.
A bill to ban the red flag or any emblem of a movement to overthrow the U S government was introduced in the House by Representative Osborne of California. The measure prohibits public or private use of such flags and imposes penalties on violators. It was referred to the Judiciary Committee.
Jr. A. J. Chalkley arrived Tuesday from Camp Greene North Carolina to resume his practice. His return brings relief to the many friends and supporters of the pastor and the local church, amid a time of overtaxed health and patient hopes.
Fire department responded Wednesday morning to a house on Main Street owned by Sam Wallen. The blaze was extinguished with a fine extinguisher before any major damage occurred.
