The Confederate Memorial Annual will be distributed to Virginia teachers with state board sanction. Three lakh? copies planned at ten cents each, ninety eight pages with portraits of Letcher Lee and Johnston. Governor Mann and Superintendent Eycelstone fund half publication cost, repaid from sales, amid mixed opinion on historical accuracy. Convicts Play Baseball on Decoration Day at State Penitentiary
Two games were played by inmates on Decoration Day with white teams Richmond and Danville facing off against Roanoke and Norfolk for the colored squad.
