An Orofino report says Frank B. Lawrence was thrown from a horse while riding with a timber survey party on a hill. Bucking horse pitched him over its head, causing severe pain before he was taken to a farm house for care. Oscar Bunnell has gone to New Whatcom, Wash., to locate.

Schuldt Named Sheriff Candidate in Nez Perce County
William Schuldt of Lewiston is announced as a candidate for sheriff before the Republican convention. He served two years as office deputy under Sheriff Rozen and two years as Lewiston city marshal. Schuldt has four years of party work and strong countywide recognition, expected to be a strong canvass foe this fall.
