Treasurer Hastings reported receipts 12166 67, warrant redemptions 12482 54, balance 20583 18. Hastings received 1189 75 in auditor fees for quarter ending October 10, 1903, up 124 35 from 1902. Ed Markham damaged 50 by road change on Waha road. Session expected to be short. adjournment planned next week.

George Holder, 27, a farm hand near Genesee, faced a probate court today on perjury charges for falsely claiming Meta Clay, 15, was 18 to obtain a marriage license. Holder’s trial was set for next Tuesday. bond was set at 1500. Meta’s father, George A. Clay, says the girl is 15 and that the couple wed after luring her to Lewiston on September 18. Meta has refused contact with her husband since returning home.
