Peck fair a great success in Lewiston exhibit
The Peck fair closed its three day run with strong attendance figures and a fruit and grain display that highlighted the county’s fertility. Kirby, Lewiston manager, praised the exhibit as the best shown and pledged Idaho’s display for St Louis next year. Also reported are horse thieves captured near Missoula, a jail escape thwarted by deputies, and preparations for the Interstate Fair with 90 top NW horses expected to race next week.
