Idaho Legislature Delivers Busy Week of Bills Passed

The seventh Idaho session reports active work with many bills in committee and a list of measures passed by both houses through last Sunday. Senate measures include $15,000 for a Snake River bridge and trustee term changes. House bills cover session expenses, academy claims, reform school in Fremont, pardons for minors, and more. additional introduced bills across Senate and House target taxation, elections, health, policing, and land use with several new measures and resolutions.

Idaho Trust Co Building Adds Windows and Interiors Ready

The Idaho Trust Co building gets its large plate windows installed today while interior finals are finished. The Kettenbech company will move in by week’s end and banking business will start there. E. W. Oliver arrives from a Camas Prairie ranch en route to Palouse points, owning a Timothy farm and having sold $1500 worth of hay at Stites. Timothy hay now trades at $8 per ton at the ranch.

City Plans for Water System Upgrades and Delinquent List

City council discusses bond sale for 60,000 and water system improvements including new pipes reservoirs for domestic and fire use, a filtering basin and pumps. Normal School Closed After Variloid Case Found

The state normal school closed for the week due to a varioloid case detected Sunday in the girls dormitory. Miss Lucy Ashley was moved to a friend's home and trustees planned sanitation measures. if no more cases surface, the school will resume next week.
