James J Hill May Build a Spokane San Francisco Route
Boise reports a Boise-Snake River corridor as James J Hill eyes controlling the Pacific Idaho Northern and linking Great Northern with a coast route. Speculation centers on a north south line through Idaho and Humboldt Bay ties, with Boise as a potential beneficiary if the Pine road is secured. Further developments are anticipated in the coming weeks.
