The Lemmon public schools announce their first graduating class Frances Colahan Della DenaVani Leta Foote to receive diplomas. A baccalaureate service is scheduled Sunday at 8 30 p m at the Lemmon opera house with Rev Benjamin in Allen delivering the sermon and music featured.

New Townsites On South Branches Planned Sales
The Milwaukee Townsite Company announces townsite sales at Cheyenne Junction on Wednesday the 24th with a train leaving Mobridge the morning of that date. Cheyenne Junction sits at the Moreau and Cheyenne branch point near the Dewey and Carson county line. That evening a special train will depart for Santry between Eagle Butte and Dupree for Thursday May 25th town sale. Special excursion rates apply across the C M and P S railway. Also notice of a stray yearling horse colt taken up near Lemmon south of town with owner to prove ownership and claim animal. Mrs H Kessler of Denver arrives for a month with Mr and Mrs H L Williams.

Pheasants Released in Perkins County to Expand Game
State game warden shipped six pairs of Mongolian pheasants to Perkins County for release. Two pairs will be placed near August Scholars and Chas Ottman on Grand River, two at Chase Hall’s on Rablat Creek. Locals vow to protect the birds as they become a sporting attraction and ornamental addition to the countryside.

Visit to the Grand River Bridge Highlights Public Work
A Lammonite party led by Geo. E. Lemmon toured the Grand River Bridge to inspect the structure and celebrate a new public work. The bridge rests on tubular cement columns with steel bracing and recent approaches nearing completion. The project will shorten the Lemmon Meadow route by about six miles and benefit southern residents.
