Fire at two Main Street furniture stores sparks extensive damage
Early this morning fires broke out at the S. N. Braden and T. Nickisch furniture stores on Main Street. Both buildings suffered heavy stock losses though interiors were saved. Incendiary origins suspected with oil-soaked siding found at Nickisch. Braden damaged mainly by heat and smoke. Insurance details noted for both owners.
