AK Anderson led the service with remarks from local figures including Jos Giortes W Rose W L Webb and A B Anderson. EO O F and K of P judges, of which he was a member, attended.
Mrs. Alvin Anderson died Friday afternoon after visiting Lehi from Vernon with her brother and sister. She had been unwell and hoped for a day or two of rest. Her husband was not present. he had been telegraphed and did not arrive before her death. Remains were taken to Vernon Saturday. She leaves three sons aged 10, 3, and an eldest child.
A large social gathering was held last night at J W Jones home for a surprise party for Mr and Mrs John R Jones. The Brain band led a procession to the residence and a program of songs speeches and gifts followed. Guests included J W Brown Ann Joes Charlotte Gougu and others with plans for a Wales England trip tomorrow.
